All the while, your family can enjoy the comforts of home in our Parents’ Cafe which offers specialty coffees, tasty treats, and a family menu.

Urban Jungle Park: Welcome to The Jungle!
Urban Jungle Fun Park is a super cool indoor facility where we have taken some of the best action oriented activities of an amusement park and a playground and mash them all together into one really cool, super sick place.

Built for Kids of All Ages
Urban Jungle wasn’t built just for little kids, but the kids of all ages. In fact, our founders made sure that
everything we offer our younger guests could be equally enjoyed by Teens, Young Adults and Parents as well. So unlike some other places where the parents just sit in total boredom and wait for their kids to finish, they too can join in on the fun and release their true inner child.

Fall Crafts For KidsSep. 25th

Fall has arrived! Now you can enjoy some fun crafts with the kids and decorate for the season! We love a good DIY project and we have one that will take you back to your own childhood. We found this craft on Edventures.

Screen Shot 2015-09-25 at 7.38.51 AM

Leaf rubbing is a fun way to bring the bold colors of Fall into your home. Kids love doing this sort of thing and We love it too;) It’s a nice inexpensive way to do a craft and get outside for a bit too. The kids will have fun picking out the perfect leaves for their project.

Here’s what you’ll need to get started:

Feel free to mix and match your papers and drawing supplies in any way you’d like to for the project.  For example, you might use oil pastels with all three types of paper to examine how the leaf print looks different based on the type of paper.  Or you could use all three drawing tools (crayons, oil pastels and colored pencils) on one paper to create a more textured leaf print.

Screen Shot 2015-09-25 at 7.41.16 AM

The last piece to this fun craft is hanging your leaf rubbing for all to see! Yay Fall!

Now that the kiddos are headed back to school, we have to get organized. Back to school shopping is so fun! Let’s take a stroll back to our own childhood. Here are some fun back to school essentials.

Backpacks:Backpack Buying Tips (Parenting.com)
How do you pick the best backpack for your child when you’re facing a full aisle in the store? Here are a few things to keep in mind when you’re shopping.
Two straps: This will distribute the weight evenly and is safer for the carrier’s back, neck and shoulders.
Reflective: If children will be walking home from school or out at night, their backpack should have pieces of reflective material on the bag.
Fit: Have your child try on the bag before you purchase it. The bottom of the bag should meet the lower back, but should not be more than 4 inches below the waistline. The point at which the bag and straps meet should be 1 to 2 inches below the top of the shoulders.
Weight: When you’ve selected the right backpack, make sure you don’t overload it. The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons recommends that a backpack should not exceed 15 to 20 percent of a child’s body weight, but the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends not exceeding 10 percent.

We love the ones on Land of Nod!

Playful EatsMay. 19th

As children, we were taught not to play with our food. Now we have reached a time where we are saying the opposite to our own kids. It is now acceptable to play with our food!Have a picky eater? No problem. Try making meals fun, but getting creative with food.

Here are some cute examples of culinary cuteness at its best. You have the creative freedom to do what you want. Fool your kids into wanting to try new things. Come on…everyone is doing it;)
